Tyflex attended the First Distribution 2026 AWS Business Partner Conference at Zebula Golf Estate & Spa on 25–26 March 2026, powered by AWS. First Distribution — part of Epsidon Technology Holdings, and the team behind First for Cloud — is one of Africa's principal AWS distributors.
What it covered
- AWS partner programme updates — how the programme is evolving and what it means for partners delivering to small and mid-sized businesses.
- Go-to-market for African SMBs — packaging cloud solutions so smaller organisations can adopt them without a large in-house technical team.
- Funding and incentive programmes — the migration and proof-of-concept support available to move workloads onto AWS.
- Technical enablement — current reference architectures for migration, backup and recovery, and security foundations.
How it feeds into our work
It reinforces the distributor support behind our AWS cloud solutions for SMBs — backup and disaster recovery, database and cloud-to-cloud migration, secure landing zones, and threat detection. If you're weighing a move to AWS, talk to our team.
